Leon Jeacock
Leon Jeacock is an up-and-coming British Superbike rider who is set to make his full-time debut in the British Superbike Championship (BSB) in 2022. He will be riding for the Hawk Racing team, piloting a Specsavers Suzuki GSX-R1000R.
Jeacock has been involved in motorcycle racing since 2011, initially starting out in the Superstock 600 Championship before progressing through various classes. Over the years, he has become a familiar face in the BSB paddock, gaining valuable experience and building his racing career.
As a member of the Hawk Racing team, Jeacock has been actively involved in club sport events, including the 2021 Race of the Year at Mallory Park, where he achieved an impressive second-place finish behind BSB race winner Gino Rea. In addition, Jeacock had the opportunity to make a BSB start towards the end of the 2021 season, replacing the injured Danny Kent at the Buildbase-backed outfit.
For the upcoming 2022 season, Jeacock will enjoy a full entry in the BSB, representing the Suzuki-backed Hawk Racing team with support from Specsavers. This opportunity is a dream come true for Jeacock, who has always aspired to compete in the Superbike class. It allows him to focus solely on one bike for the entire season, eliminating the challenges of switching between different categories.
Jeacock recognizes the privilege of stepping up to the BSB and expresses his gratitude to Specsavers for providing him with this opportunity. He acknowledges the hard work and preparation required for success in the Superbike class, and he is putting in the necessary effort, including training and nutrition support from Loughborough University, to ensure he is in top form for the season.
With his determination, support from the Hawk Racing team, and sponsorship from Specsavers, Leon Jeacock is eager to make a mark in the BSB and showcase his skills as he embarks on his full-time BSB campaign
