Happy new year to all my readers, and welcome to my blog!!
This is my first posting of 2017, and I intend to continue with more helpful posts, post of information from different aspects of photography and pointers towards other useful sources of tutorials and such.
The image in this blog was taken using my mobile studio lights and backdrop. This was a two-light setup, with one light being feathered across and the other was the main light source. It was taken using my Sony A99, and beercan 70-210mm lens at 90mm. I had a setting of ISO 3200 to keep the shutter speed up to a reasonable speed for sharpness, utilising the in-body stablization of the Sony body to assist.
Post-processing was kept to a minimum, with some spot removal being performed in PhotoShop, and Nik Tools SilverFX Pro being used for the black and white conversion.
If you are interested in having some a portrait taken, then feel free to contact me to discuss what you are looking for. Just head on over to the Contact page and we can discuss what I can provide for you.
