Time Neave
Tim Neave is a talented British motorcycle rider with a passion for racing. Born on May 28th, 1995, in Lincoln, he grew up on a family farm in Lincolnshire, initially thinking that farming would be his future. However, his love for motorcycles started at the age of nine when he received his first 50cc quad bike. It wasn't until he turned thirteen that he truly began riding motorcycles, thanks to his grandfather gifting him a Chinese 110cc dirt bike.
The turning point in Neave's racing journey came when Pete Boast, a local motorcycling hero and organizer of the UK Flat Track series, moved to his village. At the age of fourteen, Neave entered his first race on a Honda CRF150 and became the ACU Junior Flat Track Champion in 2010. This marked the beginning of his passion and dedication to motorcycles.
In 2014, Neave made the transition to tarmac racing, starting with Thundersport GB in the Minitwins championship. It was a new challenge, but one that he embraced wholeheartedly. That year, he had the unique opportunity to participate in the Superprestigio Flat Track race held at the Olympic Stadium in Barcelona. This exclusive event, organized by Marc Marquez, allowed Neave to compete against some of the best riders from various motorcycle racing disciplines.
From 2015 to 2018, Neave focused on road racing, particularly in the superstock 600 class. Riding under the "Team Neave Twins" banner, he and his twin brother Tom managed all aspects of the privateer team, from securing funding to bike maintenance. The effort paid off as they achieved podium results.
In 2019, Neave made the leap to the National Superstock 1000 class, joining professional teams such as Morello Racing Kawasaki and later Buildbase Suzuki in 2020 and 2021. During his time with Buildbase Suzuki, Neave experienced significant progress in his racing career, earning multiple race victories, pole positions, and podium finishes.
Neave's debut in the Superbike class at Cadwell Park in 2021 proved to be a memorable experience with three point-scoring finishes. This further fueled his ambitions for the future, indicating his readiness to compete at the highest level.
With his determination, skills, and growing success in professional teams, Tim Neave is an exciting rider to watch. As he continues to progress in his career, he strives to achieve even greater accomplishments in the world of motorcycle racing.
